Besides fashion, I also have a love for food and one of my favorite places to frequent is Trader Joe's. They have such a wide variety of cuisine while simultaneously having affordable prices so that you can try it all! Although I am a big fan of such staples from Trader Joe's as the Cookie Butter, below I have my most recent ten discoveries that I would highly recommend for all. Make sure to find your local
Trader Joe's and try some of these out!
1. This guacamole has all of the delicious flavor of normal guacamole while having less calories than most! I found that it's delicious by itself, with tortilla chips or even in a sandwich with a veggie burger and vegetables.
2. Babka is a mixture between a pastry and bread and this chocolate version is absolutely delicious. It has the perfect amount of chocolate and really can be enjoyed alone because it's that good!
3. These tofu edamame nuggets are a great substitute for any vegetarian or vegan. They are packed with great vegetables such as carrots and edamame, and can be paired with pretty much any dipping sauce that your heart desires.
4. The Kona Coffee cookies from Trader Joe's are a secret gem. They have a slight sweetness to them with the glaze that they are dipped in but pair perfectly with a midday cup of coffee!
5. Latkes are a wonderful dish but sometimes can be too much to make in the summer time. These frozen version cook up perfectly and can be paired with sour cream, applesauce or be eaten plain!
6. These chocolate hazelnut cookies have the creaminess of Nutella while being very light and enjoyable to have! Even the packaging shows how delicious they are which makes it hard resisting to try just one before leaving the parking lot of Trader Joe's.
7. I am a huge, and I mean huge, lover of hummus. Even though I try it nearly everywhere I go as well as most of the flavors in the grocery store, I had never come across a tomato and basil flavor until locating this one at Trader Joe's! It's perfect with some carrot sticks or being incorporated into practically any sandwich.
8. Lemon curd is a wonderful option for toast or even on vanilla ice cream that I feel that most people tend to forget about. However, once trying this version it will be hard to not purchase it every time you make a trip to Trader Joe's! It has the perfect mixture of lemon tanginess with a subtle sweetness as well.
9. Another great meat alternative for vegetarians or vegans are these chickenless tenders. They have a wonderful coating with different grains and can be enjoyed as tenders or can be cut up into salads or dishes!
10. Lastly are these pizza veggie burgers which are quite different than a typical veggie burger. By having mozzarella cheese incorporated into the burger, they end up coming out gooey and ready to be eaten.
