Having cute school supplies can really get your academic year off to a great start! That's why Kayla (the_preppy_diaries) and I decided to do a collab post on some of our favorites! Above are some of my definite essentials to having a productive first semester. I wouldn't be able to function without multiple traveler coffee cups and an adorable tote to carry everything around in. Additionally, my agenda is practically always attached to me. I'm a big fan of the larger Lilly Pulitzer ones because they give me plenty of space to stay organized. All That Glitters

Although the heat has yet to subside, I'm trying to move into more fall-like looks because it's my absolute favorite season. This skirt is definitely a great option to make this transition with. I chose to pair it with a full sequined top and then kept the accessories to a minimum as to let these two pieces shine! Make sure to check out this skirt because it's on a great sale!

One of my favorite accessories that I use in the transition time between summer and fall is a good pair of flats. They can be worn with dresses and skirts on the warmer days but also look adorable with a nice pair of cuffed jeans on the colder ones. This season so many brands have designed adorable and versatile flats that I couldn't help but to share them with all of you! All of these are definitely on my current wishlist because flats are an essential part to a classic, preppy closet. From the bright hues to add a pop of color to any look, to the neutrals with a slight edge to make a statement, all of these flats are definitely worth checking out! Hope you guys love flats (especially these ones) just as much as me!
